He is also a General Partner at XB Ventures and serves as Executive President of the Fundación Mexicana para la Salud. Previously, Héctor held multiple general management roles at IQVIA (formerly IMS Health) in North Latin America, and earlier led commercial and country organizations at Novartis and Valeant in Latam, including Mexico and Brazil.
Fernando is Co-Founder and Partner of InnovaSalud, with extensive experience in strategy and healthcare consulting across Latin America. Before founding InnovaSalud in 2015, he served as Geographic Principal for IQVIA in the North & Andean region and spent eight years at The Boston Consulting Group in Toronto and Mexico City. He is also a General Partner at XB Ventures, supporting health innovation.
José Antonio is Co-Founder and Partner at InnovaSalud with extensive experience in investment management, healthcare strategy, and data-driven decision-making. Over nearly three decades, he has led investment activity across multiple sectors and supported the development of initiatives focused on innovation and health. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Data Suppliers at IQVIA (formerly IMS Health) in Mexico, strengthening industry data partnerships and analytics capabilities.
Luis is a Partner at InnovaSalud with more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and digital health sectors across Latin America and global markets. He has occupied leadership roles at multinational organizations like Biogen, Alexion, Stendhal, Novo Nordisk, Janssen, and Merck, delivering transformative growth and successful product launches. Luis is a certified innovation management licensed practitioner, a past chairman of AMIIF (Mexico’s Innovative Pharma Association), and a passionate supporter and investor of health innovation.
Joel is a Prinicipal at InnovaSalud, with more than 25 years of experience driving commercial strategy, innovation, and business transformation across Latin America. He has held senior leadership roles at Merck, Novo Nordisk, Shire, Valeant, and Novartis, leading high-impact launches and omnichannel initiatives. Prior to rejoining InnovaSalud in 2023, he served as Business Unit Head for Merck Mexico and built innovation and digital health programs for global pharmaceutical companies. He currently also serves as Executive Director of COMEG0.
